"I set out to make a record that people can relate to and sing along with," she explains. "I have a defined pop sensibility, but I also love to get aggressive and rock- and that balance of styles is one of the most important things that sets my music apart. My songs are in tune with the way people really feel, and its important for me to create music that a large section of music fans can connect with in a number of different ways. I think thats exactly what we achieved with Ringing in My Head."
